Information we collect
AlphaVault is designed to require as little personal data as possible. We do not operate user accounts, we do not run a login system, and we do not ask you to create a profile to read anything on this website.
The categories of information that may be processed are:
- Technical data. When you visit, our hosting provider and any advertising partners may record your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page and approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Usage data. Pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, and interactions with buttons and links, used to understand which parts of our guides are useful.
- Local preferences. Your light or dark theme choice is stored in your browser's
localStorage. It never leaves your device and we cannot read it. - Voluntary correspondence. If you email or message us, we keep that correspondence so we can reply.
Cookies and advertising
This website uses third-party advertising. Those networks may set cookies, use pixels or local storage to serve and measure ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising through optout.aboutads.info, youronlinechoices.com, Google Ad Preferences, or the in-content options provided by participating vendors.
We use a small number of first-party cookies for essential function only — remembering your colour theme and dismissing interface elements. These cannot be switched off without breaking the page, and they never contain personal information.
Third-party services
These external services are used on this site and may process data under their own policies:
Advertising and affiliate relationships
AlphaVault Media is the owner and operator of this website. It is funded by display advertising served by third-party ad networks, and by affiliate or referral links. A full on-page disclosure appears on the owner section of the homepage, and on our About page.
Every ad is labelled, and no advertiser has any influence over what we publish. Some Telegram links may earn us a small referral fee if you join through them. This costs you nothing extra and never changes our verdict about a tool — including when the verdict is negative.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data an organisation holds about you.
- Correction — ask for inaccurate data to be fixed.
- Deletion — ask for your data to be erased.
- Objection and restriction — ask us to pause or limit certain processing.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent — for anything done on the basis of consent, at any time.
Because we operate a static website with no user accounts, there is usually very little personal data held about an individual reader. Where data does exist — for example an email you sent us — you can request its deletion at any time and we will action it within 30 days.
How we protect data
We keep the amount of data we hold deliberately small, serve the site over HTTPS, and never ask for financial credentials. That said, no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. We do not control the security of third-party platforms you visit after clicking a link, and we recommend you use a separate burner wallet for any faucet activity.
Children
This site is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The "last updated" date at the top of this page is authoritative, and material changes will be noted in the Telegram channel.
Contact
Questions, requests or corrections can be sent through our contact page. We aim to respond within seven working days.
